March in the Pan-O-Prog Parade

Posted on Jul 3 2021 - 5:45pm
Urgent: It is jus one week until the Pan-O-Prog parade, and South Metro Scout units will again be marching in the parade. Having a strong Scout presence is vital to our recruiting efforts.

Be part of the excitement. To sign up, CLICK HERE.

Walk with Scouts and Scouters from ALL OVER Lakeville to show our Scouting Spirit and invite kids to join Scouting. The group will walk with a fishing themed float (boat) and hand out flyers and book marks. Plan to wear your Class A uniform shirt and consider bringing a prop of your favorite scouting activity! That could include a backpack, fishing pole, skateboard, bike, paddle, or whatever represents what you like to do in scouting (no guns and bows, please). Just remember you will have to carry whatever you bring along the 1.2 mile route, so fill your backpack with something light!

Sign Up Now for Lakeville Cleanup, Pack Reflection and Summer Camp

Posted on Apr 17 2021 - 8:42pm
Hello Pack 260 families. There are three upcoming events for which you should consider registering.

Lakeville Cleanup
Pack 260 will join Troop 260 to clean up a designated area in Lakeville. Participants will meet at Century Middle School (Ipava) at 6:30 pm and work until 7:45 pm. Mr. McGinley from Troop 260 will scout the area Sunday afternoon. If someone else has already cleaned the area, he will select another. To register, CLICK HERE. When you register, please note your T-shirt size in the Notes section. As this event is next week, you need to register quickly.

Pack Reflection
Each year, leaders of Pack 260 hold a reflection meeting to discuss what went well during the past year and where there are areas of opportunity. This year, we'd like to invite pack parents to participate as well. We will send everyone a document to provide feedback, so if you cannot attend, you can still be part of this process. Attached is a link to a Doodle Poll that will indicate your availability on either April 27 or April 28. These dates were selected as they can be better attended by our pack leaders. CLICK HERE to indicate your availability to participate.

SUMMER CAMP
Have you signed up for summer camp yet? Don't miss your chance for happy outdoor memories with your scout. Pack 260 will cover the full cost of the scout registration for regular camp and Webelos Outpost. However, families will be responsible for Webelos Outpost and all adult registration costs.
