Yes Blue and Gold is here again!! As we prepare to usher our Webelos II Scouts into their next journey of Boy Scouts, I would like to remind you to please bring the pledge forms for the Friends of Scouting pledge drive with you to the Blue and Gold, if you haven't sent in a pledge already. If you have sent in a pledge, but did not inform the Cub Master of this, please do so in order to keep track of pledges sent by our unit for credit to the council. Yes, Friends of Scouting has arrived again and you have all received your pamphlets and free North Star Council pen. Please fill out the pledge forms and return them to the Cub Master, your Den Leaders or send them in to the Council. If you send them in or complete them by e:mail, please let the Cub Master know of the amount and name they were pledged by, so we as a pack may get credit for the pledges. We have a goal set by the Council of $2900 and are doing well, however, only about 10% of the pack has returned their tax deductible pledge forms. Please pledge what you are able to, or simply turn in your pledge form with your name and that is all that needs to be done. Mr. Peña is this years Friends Of Scouting (FOS) chair, so I need to keep a record of what has been pledged for our unit's totals.
